The next big thing!

Well I'm sure everyone is wondering, what will happen down the road from now in the ways of electronics... and I can' t really predict the future, cause I'm no psycho but I can tell you that it is gonna be big. Possibly a combination of Computers, internet and television, kind of a combination of Direct TV with internet explorer. This would be very effective because people would only have to pay one bill for both not many seperate bills for all their entertainment needs.

This could possibly be set up on a television screen, but along with your remote control it comes with a keyboard and you can type in any show that you want and watch it. Also you can use facebook, youtube and the rest of internet browsing when not watching television on it. This would really help people save money and be able to do everything in one.

In conclusion, a combination of internet and television would make a very usable and easy way to accesss the internet and television all in one. This would be big and a good start for a company

Avatar!

I know that lately I have been babbling about my sports teams, NBA playoffs and such but today I would like to talk about my avatar that I made. It is supposed to resemble me but looks nothing like me! Except for the lakers jersey and the necklace. I gave him a british accent and he talks and says my name.

Lakers Action!

Well sorry I haven't "blogged" in awhile I have been too busy watching all the playoff action...  And eating too. I must say the first round ended well, but this next round has been pretty surprising so far. Shockingly the Heat are up 2-0 on the Celtics, whom I thought would come out stronger than they have. Also, Memphis has beaten Oklahoma City at home once, to tie the series 1-1. Same with the Hawks, who didn't have a strong regular season, but have done remarkable in the playoffs, they are tied in their series with the Bulls 1-1. The painful series for me to watch though on the otherhand is the Lakers - Mavs series. Damn do the lakers not look good at all. In game one at Staples center they blew a 16 point lead to fall to the Mavs by two points. Kobe missed a three in the final five seconds, one which he would usually make. In game two, they deteriorated even more, not making ONE three pointer and only shooting 50% on their freethrows. Ron Artest was taken out from the game with around 2 minutes left and Gasol was being booed by fans... What has happend? They have went cold in the wrong time, thats what happened. Tonight in Dallas the Lakers need to make a final stand, or they are done! Will they? I think they can if they play like they did against New Orleans during their road wins. The lakers do have one of the best road records in the league, now is the time to show it. Its pretty funny that both the teams from the championship game from last year are both down 0-2 in their series.

Wednesday Action!

There were some great games last night! And all of the games either ended the series of extended it. The first game was the 6er's and the Heat, and just like I thought the Heat won but it was very close. With a final score of 97-91 and winning the series 4-1. Wade led his team to their playoff victory with 26 points along with Lebron with 8 assists. Iguodala lead the 6er's to a close loss with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Part of me wanted to see the 6er's upset the Heat and take the series to a game six, but on the other hand now that the Heat won, they will be a viable threat to the old Celtic team who have been resting. I can see the 6er's being a good team in the next few years though, they are young, energetic and have alot of talent.

The next game was probably the game of the night. Memphis returned to San Antonio with hopes of ending the series and defeating the "Dinosaurs of the NBA." Randolph led his team with 26 points and 6 assists along with Marc Gasol with 17 rebounds. This team looked good and came back in the third quarter from being down and took a lead in the fourth. With about 10 seconds left on the clock, Ginolbli who had 33 points in the game, shot for a three to tie the game, he hit it dead on, but the shot was deamed only two points and they where still down. San Antonio scored two more points, putting themselves up by three again. With 1.7 seconds left on the clock, Gary Neal forced overtime with a rather spectacular three pointer. After that, the Spurs took charge and won in overtime with a score 110-103. The Spurs looked really good in this game but are still down 2-3 going back to memphis for game six. They can win, but they are an old team playing a young amped up Memphis team, I see Memphis winning the game but close.

The last game of the night was painful... The amped up Denver coming off a home win on Monday, lost a close game in Oklahoma City, loosing the series 4-1. Though Oklahoma beat the Nuggets in only five games, all but one of the games where close and Denver was in them. In fact, last night Denver had the game and could have won, they where up by seven in the last six minutes. By of course Durant did what he does best, he rallied his team back scoring 41 points, with help from Ibaka and Perkins on the defensive end. Denver who's top scorer Afflalo, only scored 15 points, fell behind in the final seconds of the game, and missed a crucial three pointer that would have tied the game. After the game George Karl claimed that his team was really in the game. But free throw shooting problems, loosing rebounds and turnovers aided the Thunder in having their first playoff series win since '04, when they where back in Seattle.

Tuesday victories!

Well the games from last night I can't say where very close by any means, but they definitly happened as predicted. The first game was the  Hawks at Orlando and the desperate Magic came out to play, crushing the Hawks 101-76. Richardson amazingly led the Magic's scoring with 17 points along with Dwight Howard's 8 points. Smith from the Hawks led his team with 22 points along with Hortford's 14 rebounds and 6 assists. This game did show that the Magic are still in this, being at home they where energized and when desperation came, they could play! Next game could be hard for them though since they haven't taken a win in Atlanta yet... It will be close, but I do see the Hawks winning next game close.

The next game was a finish that we all expected, the top seeded Bulls led by Rose with 25 points and Noah with 8 rebounds defeated the Pacers in their series, 116-89. It wasn't a pretty sight at all, the Pacers led by Granger with 20 points and Hansbrough with 11 rebounds tried to bring the game close, but in the fourth quarter they fell apart and lost a painful game to Chicago. This was surprising to me since the Pacers played all of the series close and could have possibly won the first two. Now the Bulls are resting after winning the series 4-1 and they are ready to head to the NBA championship game.

The final game of the night was great! I watched my lakers team beat the Hornets in Los Angeles 106-90. Kobe, although banged up led his team to a much needed victory, scoring 19 points along with Bynum's 10 rebounds. This game showed me that the Lakers are here to stay in the playoffs and should have no problems beating New Orleans out in game six. New Orleans is a resiliant team though, Ariza with 22 points is looking all world in the right time, along with Chris Paul, whom got 12 assists in the game, but didn't dominate the scoring like he had in other times in the series. I believe that game six will be a close, well fought battle but in the end the Lakers will win, I mean they have to right? They were slow to start in the series but now everyone is starting to look like a team that will return to the NBA championship for yes... a 3 PEAT !!

Monday playoff action

WOW! What a day of games in the western confrence of the NBA playoffs. Two of the three games really showed a powerful dominant team and I have really started to see the teams that will probably win this series. The first game of the night was the Spurs in Memphis as they took on the Grizzlies, the Spurs being down 2-1, fell again, going down 1-3 in the series. The final score was 104-86 and the first half was actually semi close, both teams taking the lead at different times. Yet in the third quarter Memphis really took charge scoring 30 points to San Antonio's 15. From there on in the fourth quarter they continued the lead scoring 26 points to San Antonio's only 21. Tony Parker led the Spurs in this terrible defeat scoring 23 points along with Splitter with 9 rebounds. On the Memphis side the scoring was led by Conley with 15 points and 7 assists. I must say this game really shows that Memphis has came into this series to play, and win, they are energized and the number one seeded Spurs just don't appear to have an answer for them, they are an older team, playing a team of young talent. I see the series being over with Memphis winning 4-1, San Antonio just isn't the team we predicted.

The second game of the night was the one that I had a lot of questions about. After Brandon Roy's large comeback in game four of the series, I didn't know what to expect, the Mavs played great at home, but then so did the Blazers. This game last night would really start to answer some questions in arguably the closest series in the west. Dallas came out to play though, Portland went cold in the fourth and they had a huge win over the Blazers 93-82. Nowitzki played great on Dallas' side scoring 25 points along with Chandler's huge 20 rebounds. On the other hand, Miller led the scoring for the Blazers with only 18 points and 7 assists. After this game with Dallas up 3-2 in the series, I see Portland winning a close game at home again to tie the series 3-3. But ultimately, I see Dallas winning at home in game seven to clinch the series 4-3, just because of their homecourt advantage and due to their trend of winning well at home.

The last game of the night was a do or die for the struggling Nuggets, who had lost their two stars to the Knicks earlier in the season. The Nuggets down 3-0, needed this win and at home this was their best chance. Lawson led his team to the 104-101 win with 27 points, which was a high for him. Galinari came in to effect after the first half and put up 9 points as well. Durant again dominated the scoring on his team with 31 points and Ibaka with 14 rebounds. The Thunder who could have swept the series 4-0 with this win, didn't look like they wanted anything in that sort. The Nuggets on the other hand where energized and had the crowd on their side. After a nine point lead at the beginning of the fourth, the Thunder almost made a successful comeback to beat the Nuggets. But late freethrows by Felton sealed the deal as they went up three points with only seconds remaining. This game here does show me that the Nuggets have what it takes to beat the Thunder, as long as their players are making their freethrows and shots. Yet, this close win was at home and Denver does have one of the worst road records in the league. I could see the fired up Denver team to possibly carry some momentum off of this game into beating the Thunder on Wednesday, but most likely the Thunder will win, either 4-1 or 4-2.

Easter Sunday Playoffs!

Well finally the 6er's got a win on the fired up Heat at home in Phillie. Lebron scored a high of 31 points and rallied his team back from a large deficit but at the end they fell 82-86. The 76er's on the other hand held a great lead the first half, but blew it in the second, allowing the Heat to come back. For this very reason, I do not see the 6er's winning another game. They avoided a sweep but will loose the series 4-1. At Madison Square later on in the day, the Knicks got killed again at home. How do you figure that they play close in Boston but can't get a single home win. Stoudemaire was good enough to play and was a key factor with 12 rebounds and Melo with 32 points, but Billups was still out and a good amount of the other players struggled, including Turiaf. Garnett led the Celtics in scoring with 26 points and 10 rebounds and again Rondo could not be covered by the struggling defensive unit that they called the Knicks. In the end the Celtics swept the Knicks 4-0 and won another game 101-89. Now the Celtics won't need to play a game five and will be nice and rested.

The Hawks I must say I really underestimated, they are pretty good. After blowing the Magic away in the first quarter they held onto their lead even after a late comback to beat the Magic 88-85. Crawford led with 12 points along with Horford with 12 rebounds. On the other side of the court, I know it was a shocker, but Dwight Howard led his team with 29 points and 17 rebounds. At the end of the game, a late three by Turkoglu woulld have tied the game but the struggling star missed and the rest was history. Now I can really understand why Dwight wants a trade, his team is really weak and his the only real star left. The Hawks now up 3-1 will win the series 4-2 due to the lack of depth on the Magic.

The last game on Easter night was painful. The inspiring looking Lakers came out to play, starting with a strong lead after the first quarter. But Chris Paul's triple double helped to bring his team back and close a big win for his seventh seeded team. The fourth quarter was painful for people like me being Lakers fans. The Hornets couldn't make a single shot for a good stretch of time. Until about 15 seconds where left on the clock and 1 second on the shot clock, then they could score. Puting up a 5 point lead with 9 seconds on the clock was tough and they held it. Paul led his team with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Now the Lakers will need to win two more to advance on and while their rival Celtics are resting up, they are continuing a close battle in the west. The Lakers should win 4-2.
